A History Lover’s Guide to Cameron County Texas.
Scan-Drive-Discover, is proposed to the Historical Press for publication in the Summer of 2027. A historical narration of Cameron County, Texas, and how this one county influenced a nation.

While the novel is completed, it is not yet published, as I am querying literary agents for representation. A daunting and seemingly hopeless task, but I will get there.
Boy Joseph is a work of historical fiction that reimagines the formative years of Joseph Smith before history knew his name.
Long before he became one of America’s most influential and controversial religious figures, Joseph was simply a boy growing up on the rugged frontier of western New York. Like many boys of his generation, he hunted, fished, worked the family farm, chased adventure, believed in hidden treasure, and wrestled with the questions of adolescence. Yet beneath his ordinary life was something he could neither explain nor ignore.
Joseph saw things others did not. He heard things others could not. As the spiritual excitement of the Second Great Awakening swept across the Burned-over District, he found himself caught between the world he knew and experiences that would forever change it.
When an ancient messenger from another age enters Joseph’s life, an unimaginable responsibility is placed upon his shoulders. What begins as the journey of an ordinary farm boy becomes a search for a buried record, a treasure, a struggle against growing opposition, and the beginning of a destiny that will alter the course of religious history.
Set in nineteenth-century Palmyra, New York, Boy Joseph is a coming-of-age novel that blends documented history with imaginative storytelling to explore the humanity of the boy before the prophet. It is a story of family, friendship, faith, doubt, courage, sacrifice, and the moment when childhood gives way to calling.
